User agreement

1. What bltn.club is

bltn.club is a public bulletin board for real-world events: rallies, meetings, cleanups, teach-ins, fundraisers, vigils, and similar gatherings. It is not a social network. There is no feed, no comments, no likes, no follower counts. Events are the only thing you post.

2. Who can join

Anyone 16 or older can sign up as an individual, an activist, or an organization (a group, collective, nonprofit, union, club, or campaign). You are responsible for keeping your login private and for everything posted from your account.

3. Public posting

Every published event is public. Anyone on the internet can read it, add it to their calendar, and share the link, with or without an account. Do not post an address, phone number, or detail you would not want indexed by a search engine. Drafts stay private until you publish them.

4. Community rules: what you agree not to post

You must agree to these rules to create an account, and confirm them each time you post an event. Breaking them gets the content removed and can get the account suspended.

• Events that do not exist, or that you do not have the authority to announce.
• Calls for violence, property destruction, or harm to any person.
• Harassment, threats, or doxxing, including publishing another person's home address, workplace, or private information.
• Hate directed at people on the basis of race, religion, ethnicity, national origin, gender, sexuality, disability, or immigration status.
• Spam, commercial advertising unrelated to a real gathering, or repeated duplicate postings.
• Anything that breaks the law where the event takes place.

5. Your content

You keep ownership of the text, images, and flyers you upload. You give bltn.club a license to display them on the site, in calendar feeds, and in the emails the site sends about your event. Upload only images you have the right to use. If you delete an event or flyer, it is removed from the site; copies already added to someone's calendar are outside our control.

6. Email

We email you for the things you asked for: account confirmation, RSVP confirmations, reminders 24 hours and 1 hour before an event, host headcounts, messages sent through a contact form, and an optional weekly digest. Each of these can be turned off in your profile except messages about your own account. We never sell or share your address.

7. Contacting hosts

The contact form delivers your message to the host by email with your address as reply-to. Use it for questions about the event. Do not use it to harass anyone. Hosts can turn the form off.

8. RSVPs are private

When you RSVP, the event page shows only the total count. Hosts see numbers and trends, never your name or email. Hosts can send updates to everyone who RSVP'd, and bltn.club delivers them without revealing who received them.

9. Calendar sync

Calendar feeds are public URLs. Anyone who has a feed URL can read the events in it. Your personal feed contains events you host and events you RSVP'd to, so share it only with calendars you control.

10. Removal

We can remove any event, flyer, or account that breaks this agreement, without notice. Hosts can cancel or delete their own events at any time; people who RSVP'd are emailed when an event is cancelled.

11. No warranty

bltn.club is provided as is. We do not verify events. Use your own judgment before attending anything, and take normal precautions. We are not responsible for what happens at an event or for a host's conduct.

12. Changes

If this agreement changes in a way that matters, we will email account holders before it takes effect.
